I was one of Debbie's seminary teachers in Yakima, WA where her future husband, Dwaine, was also one of my students. She always had a bright smile and made us all feel better by being around her. I remember she went to work right out of high school while Dwaine went on a two year mission. She waited for his return so they could be married in the temple. My wife, Carolynn, and I send our heartfelt condolences to Dwaine and all family members.

As her oldest brother I could probably tell some stories, but I can hardly remember anymore. I can say that I know of nothing sordid for sure. She was a kind and gentle soul. She was so much like her Grandmother Bessie Thompson, something like I picture perfection of spirit on earth. I cannot remember her raising her voice. She had nothing left to accomplish here on earth. Though we lived a long distance apart for most of our lives, I will truly miss her and hope to be worthy to see her in the next life. Give Mom a hug for me, Debbie.
