Condolence: Steve,
You truly are one of the good guys. I'm grateful for our friendship and all the great times and laughs we had. This seems surreal yet and is hard to grasp. I will like so many others eternally miss you. To Steve's family thank you for sharing this great man with us! I'm so sorry for your loss and will help you any way get through this time. Happy Trails my friend, until we meet again. I will miss you the rest of my life, as so many others will.
Friends Always,
JIll (Christensen) Sonder

Condolence: I was lucky to know Steve first as a teenager and young adult through horses at the Winnail Stables. Then I had the good luck to become re-acquainted again with him years later when we were in our 50s., again at the stable. He was so very patient, helpful and encouraging to me as I struggled to re-learn to ride. I hope he knew how much it meant to me. We had some great talks while walking on our horses around the arena. He was a great guy and an even better friend. I know Target, his cats, all his family and friends will miss him enormously. I know I will. (Go Big Red, Steve!)
Sending sincere Peace to the Winnail and Klopp families.

Condolence From: Bob Feltman
Condolence: Although I have lost contact with Steve and the entire family over the years. I have always cherished the fond memories of Steve and all the fun we all had together as we grew. I was deeply saddened when I heard of his passing. I will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral because business commitments require me to be in Dallas, Texas. I will keep Steve and the entire family in my thoughts and prayers during this time of sorrow.
Fondly,
Bob Feltman

Condolence: Steve was a wonderful man. I haven't seen him in quite some time but I used to go to the Homy Inn from time to time and I really enjoyed chatting with Steve. I also went to a Husker game or two with him as well. My deepest condolences to the family. Steve had a lot of people who loved him.He will be greatly missed.

Condolence: I knew Steve through our mutual friend Bill. Steve was such a gentleman and kind soul; he'll be missed greatly. Steve would allow our friend Joe and I to come out to the stables and take photographs of Target--great memories! My sincere condolences to his family, relatives, and many friends. May Jesus welcome you into Heaven my friend. God Bless.
