Life Story for Bennett Cornell Liston

Bennett Cornell Liston was born sleeping September 11th, 2017. Bennett was born at exactly three pounds and 15.5 inches long. Chris and Crickett discovered they were expecting Bennett in March of 2017. They quickly prepared to bring him home by setting up his nursery and beginning the name debate. At 20 weeks pregnant Bennett was diagnosed with Trisomy 18. Bennett’s little heart could not handle the delivery, but made a huge impact on everyone that met him. His sister, Hazel, made such a big impact during her short time that the family uses the quote “Let Her Sleep, For When She Wakes, She Will Move Mountains.” To tie Bennett and Hazel together in a deeper way Bennett is named after Bennett Peak in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains. It will be a beautiful gathering place for the family to visit and remember Bennett.
