Life Story for Renee Annette Fox (Danker)
Renee Annette Danker Fox was born on December 11, 1969 in Omaha, Nebraska to Ray and Karen (Newton) Danker. She grew up in Omaha where she graduated from Westside High School in 1988. Renee attended Kearney State College before going on to receive her Bachelor’s Science Degree in Nursing from Clarkson College As a young girl, Renee was active in softball and loved to ride her bike, read and developed a life-long love of dogs.
Renee married Shawn Fox on January 17, 2001 in Jamaica and they were blessed with 2 children: Kaden and Michaela; Renee and Shawn have raised their family in Omaha and Millard before settling in Elkhorn.
Renee was proud to be a Registered Nurse and for a large part of her career she worked at the Nebraska Medical Center, formally Clarkson Hospital, and most recently in the operating room at Children’s Hospital. Her life’s focus has been her children and her nursing career. Renee was a fan of Creighton University basketball , Husker football, but today she mostly enjoyed watching her kids activities.
Renee passed away on November 15, 2017 at Bergan Mercy Hospital in Omaha following complications from an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
