Life Story for Dennis Jack Wilson

Dennis Jack Wilson was born on October 24, 1950 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jack and Ruth (Aronson) Wilson; he grew up in Omaha where he attended Springville elementary school and Nathan Hale Jr. High. He graduated from Omaha Benson High School in 1969 before attending UNO. As a young boy, Dennis played the coronet and french horn in the high school band, loved cars, was active in scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 1965. In addition, achieved the highest possible rank in the Order of the Arrow and especially enjoyed Boy Scout camps.

Dennis worked in phone sales for US West, Airtouch, Verizon and Phones Plus before working at Marriott International as a Guest Experience Supervisor. He enjoyed boating, living on the lake and playing and living on the golf course. Dennis was a loyal, generous, humble and very gracious man. His greatest pleasures revolved around family and their special events and activities. Dennis enjoyed 60’s music, was an avid Husker fan, savored a good steak, a good Kessler’s and water and dinner out at Charlie’s on the Lake, which he affectionately referred to as “Chuck on the Pond”. Dennis had a nickname for everyone and almost everything and he took great pleasure in sharing his creative wordsmithing.
